MOBFIT WAS FOUNDED BY TWO BLOKES WHO BUMPED THEIR HEADS TOO MANY TIMES PLAYING RUGBY.

WE’RE NOW ON A MISSION TO HELP COMPANIES CREATE HEALTHIER, HAPPIER WORKSPACES…

Having both worked in corporate jobs for years we are all too familiar with the challenges faced by employees. Lack of time and lack of emphasis on health and well being in the work place were two of the major reasons we struggled with the city jobs. These days we focus our passion and energies on helping companies and their employees get the most out of their office space as well as themselves.

Mark Briant, Founder

Mark has always been a competitive athlete, playing semi-professional rugby for Blackheath RFC where he achieved ‘world class’ fitness rankings, and now competes in Crossfit. Prior to MobFit, Mark worked in banking so understands the challenges of juggling health and fitness with a demanding office job.

 

As well as being a personal trainer, Mark also has a passion for food and is a qualified BTN Nutritionist. He loves discovering new ingredients and combinations that not only taste great but fuel the body and mind for optimal performance. The world of nutrition is a confusing one and he helps clients simplify it, getting the best out of themselves.

Rob Smith, Founder

Rob bought his first set of 4kg dumbbells aged 14, and has been in to fitness ever since. His passion really grew when he founded a rugby team whilst at Manchester University, which he coached for the first year before handing over the job to Mark.

 

Rob loves variety in training, whether that is triathlons, martial arts, Crossfit, or ultra marathons, Rob loves to mix it up. He has trained as a Level 3 YMCA Personal Trainer and is currently training for his first boxing match.

Tanya Kailides, Trainer

Tanya has worked as a personal trainer for the last 6 years, primarily in North London. Training clients at gyms in the early days, then moving to their homes, but her favourite place is outside in the park!

 

When not training you will find Tanya in the woods, climbing trees and monkey-ing around. She has extensive Animal Flow and movement training, hence why she is the lead instructor for our 'Primal' class. Alongside the bodyweight moves, she also is a very good Olympic weightlifter and strength trainer. If that's not enough, she has also qualified as a sports and remedial massage therapist!

Nicole Kayode, Trainer

Nicole is a yoga teacher whose passion for sharing yoga lies in making the magic of yoga accesible to everybody from all walks of life - smashing the myth that one isn't the 'right kind of person' for yoga.  In all of her classes, Nicole encourages students to come to the mat with an attitude of non-judgment toward yourself, where you think you 'should' be or what you think you 'should' look like. You are where you need to be.

 

Off the mat, you'll find Nicole working in the tech industry in London as well as running her own healthcare technology start-up. With an understanding of the pressures of city life, Nicole hopes to share the balance and calm yoga brings her with others.

Lucy Kane, Trainer

Lucy has a passion for fitness and mindfulness as well as a love for teaching people. She completed her 200hr certificate in yoga teaching last year in Greece, and her classes focus on breath, mind and movement, to give you an understanding of the body you’re in and how to work with it, not against it.

 

When not leading a Yoga class you will find Lucy treading the boards in theatres as an actress and musician! She acts, sings, dances, plays the saxophone and violin. Lucy brings the energy from the stage in to her classes, leaving everyone grinning from ear to ear!
